CARE PRINCIPLES

DAILY CARE, KEPT SIMPLE.

A few simple care habits can help keep your CURTIS & Co. timepiece looking its best: wipe the case and crystal after wear, respect the water-resistance rating, keep leather away from prolonged moisture, and store the watch clean and dry.

DAILY CLEANING

WIPE GENTLY AFTER WEAR

Gently wipe your watch with a soft, lint-free cloth after wearing it. This helps remove fingerprints, moisture, dust, and everyday residue that can accumulate on the case, crystal, and bracelet.

For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and dry the watch thoroughly afterward. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.

WATER RESISTANCE

RESPECT THE RATING

Water resistance ratings are designed to protect your watch under specific conditions. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down, if applicable, before exposure to water.

Avoid operating the crown or pushers while the watch is wet, rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water, and avoid hot tubs, saunas, or extreme temperature changes.

STORAGE

STORE CLEAN AND DRY

When not in use, store your watch in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and strong magnetic fields.

For long-term storage, keep the watch in its presentation box or a watch case, avoid placing heavy objects on top of the watch, and store automatic watches in a position that minimizes unnecessary movement.

SUPPORT

WHEN TO CONTACT CURTIS SUPPORT

Please contact CURTIS & Co. Customer Support if moisture or condensation appears inside the crystal, the watch is no longer keeping accurate time, the crown, pushers, clasp, or bracelet become damaged, the watch has experienced a significant impact or accident, or you require warranty service, repair assistance, care guidance, maintenance help, or replacement straps.

CARE ANSWERS

SIMPLE GUIDANCE FOR DAILY OWNERSHIP.

Clear answers that help shoppers choose the right collection, size, fit, and ownership path.

How should I clean my CURTIS watch?

Wipe your watch regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove fingerprints, moisture, and everyday residue. For a more thorough cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and dry the watch completely afterward. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and solvents, which may damage the finish.

Can I wear my watch near water?

5 ATM Water Resistance: Suitable for everyday use, including hand washing, rain, and occasional splashes. Not recommended for swimming, diving, snorkeling, or high-pressure water activities.

10 ATM Water Resistance: Suitable for swimming, recreational water activities, and everyday water exposure. Not intended for scuba diving or activities involving significant water pressure.

To help maintain water resistance, ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposure to water, never operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet, rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water, and avoid hot tubs, saunas, and extreme temperature changes.

How should I care for leather or silicone bands?

Leather Bands: Leather is a natural material and should be kept away from excessive moisture, sweat, perfumes, oils, and prolonged sunlight. If the strap becomes wet, gently pat it dry and allow it to air dry naturally.

Silicone Bands: Silicone straps are durable and easy to maintain. Clean them periodically with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry with a soft cloth before wearing.

Metal Bracelets: Wipe regularly with a soft cloth and clean occasionally using mild soap and water. Dry completely before wearing.

Tip: Rotating between multiple straps can extend their lifespan and allow you to match your watch to different occasions. Proper care helps preserve the appearance, comfort, and performance of your CURTIS & Co. timepiece.
